Hitler Talk
Hitler was a persuasive and powerful orator, rabble rouser, and propagandist; both his spoken and his written words clearly told the world what he intended to do. For too long, his listeners and readers ignored his threats and hateful commentary. Perhaps as many as fifty million people lost their lives during the 1939-1945 war; a result of Hitlerism, hate, barbarism and apathy. It seems likely that we will never fully understand the terrible experiences that befell the world during the twelve years of Hitler's Third Reich. This book is not intended to be a history of Nazism or a biography of the ruthless dictator. The book's sole intent is to inform and remind today's readers of Hitler's statements. If the price of liberty is eternal vigilance, then today we must listen to other voices resonant of Hitler, and act accordingly. Therefore, it seems wise that we read and re-read the lies and other observations of that staring-eyed, cowlick-graced, toothbrush-mustached, narrow-shouldered, spindly-legged, wide-hipped, raspy-voiced, paranoiac vandal: Adolf Hitler. To ignore that past is to live dangerously.
