In Palliser's Triangle
Product Description
Author Barry Potyondi offers a detailed look at the relationship between people and the evolving prairie environment. This is a portrait of how westerners deliberately changed the grasslands of southwestern Saskatchewan and how it, in turn, helped to shape their lives. Amongst other questions Potyondi asks is: should the Grasslands have been farmed at all?
Review
"For the best accounts of the development of Canadian ranching, see Potyondi's In Palliser's Triangle (especially 43-74) and Breen's The Canadian Prairie West."
